Hello John Wesley members and friends,
I was thinking about Jesus’ words recorded in John 15:5, Jesus is the vine and we are the branches; because Jesus has been resurrected and sits on the right hand of God, we have hope that our branches will produce much fruit. It is true that our fruit production has been inconsistent but as long as Jesus is our Mediator with God, we have hope that our fruit production will increase and will one day become consistent. Personal and spiritual change is the lesson of history, generations of persons and families knew this to be true and thus improved their circumstances and relationship with Christ as a result. Please know that such change and such improvement was never solely due to individual, family or even one’s community’s effort but all improved circumstances are the result of divine empowerment.
